Applied Electronics Corporation recently released the new FKEY FOMA mobile thin client for NTT Docomo. FKEY supports NTT Docomo Xi, which realizes a new generation high speed mobile data communications LTE standard. We also plan to introduce a new FKEY model compatible with Xi smart phone early next year.

Compared to the 7-14Mbps of FOMA, the downlink speed of the Xi is 37.5Mbps (up to 75Mbps). In the near future, it will increase to 100Mbps, a speed comparable to the fiber optic network. Many are looking forward to use Xi in their daily business.
